The series Colour doesn't Hurt focuses on themes such as guilt, innocence, envy and prejudices. Via these anthropological themes, the exuberant experience of pure colour challenges the viewer to either endure, admire or despise the image, which often is loaded with religious stories and cultural references.
Seebregts believes we can find out something about ourselves by looking at colour and how we define it in our minds and our worlds.
